Independent Lets is a scheme offering a FREE service to private landlords run by 1625 Independent People to help landlords find tenants and help young people find landlords. What do we offer landlords? • A free Tenant Find service providing vetted tenants for rooms in shared houses AND a tenant matching service to create cohorts of sharers; • Access to direct payments of Local Housing Allowance (Housing Benefit); • A deposit bond scheme; • Free photographic and written inventories and regular property inspections; • Your own liaison officer throughout the tenancy; • a leasing option for landlords who prefer the option of guaranteed rent. How much could you get?
