Decanter "Sharon" Dartington Glass FT334 £20 in Bristol, Gloucestershire for sale
This is a lovely decanter for red wine (or port, brandy, sherry, etc.). Red wine does benefit from being decanted strangely. This decanter has a wide heavy base so it's not likely to get knocked over easily. It comes complete in its original box, which shows you it is 24% lead crystal and that it was designed by Frank Thrower. For those of you who don't know Dartington Glass, they are a Devon firm but have a lot of Swedish design. I've put it through the dishwasher but not above 50 degrees or it makes the crystal go cloudy. We are downsizing so lots of possessions have to go. Pick up only please - Redland.
