Ercol Quaker Carver kitchen dining chairs x 2. Model 365A. Used with signs of wear, small marks in the finish here and there, lovely wear to the arms and other areas where the finish has worn down.Please view pics above and below for condition. These chairs are a great shape and really eye catching. Usually we prefer Ercol chairs without the cushions but the reddy / burnt orange fabric on these does go very nicely with the darker colour of the frames. The cushions are probably not original but are included for free with the chairs, no problem if you don't want them but they are yours if you do. I'm not sure exactly how old these chairs are as they do not have the little Ercol sticker often found on the back or underside of the seat. Sometimes this was not always used on every item when you bought entire dining suites or often the little stickers were removed over the years. It does have the Kite mark on the underside of the seat. These chairs were originally in production between 1957 - c 1986 according to the Ercol book. They have the 5 spindle backs used on the first production models with later ones having a 6 spindle back so my guess is these chairs are C 1960s / 70s. In overall nice condition and a very attractive shape and very usable chairs.
