...WHERE DO I START WITH THIS BEAUTY FIRST OF ALL IT IS A VERY RARE MIVEC GPX MANUAL GEARBOX THE WAY A SPORTS CAR SHOULD BE.. SHE HAS JUST BEEN TAXED FOR 6MTS AND MOT FOR SAME,SO READY TO DRIVE AWAY.... ...This is a very quick car with Mitusbishi's own version of VTEC - the MIVEC system, which uses a torquey, high mpg cam at low speeds, but brings in a high power cam at about 5000 rpm, giving a real punch all the way to the 8500 rpm redline. This power is complimented by one of the best front wheel drive chassis ever made (in my humble opinion). This is an incredibly direct car to drive with very little body roll and very quick steering. Importantly, my car had the 5-speed manual option fitted at the factory, which is the reason I choose this FTO - There's no risk of semi-automatic gearbox gremlins! Here are the details: The car is taxed and MOT'd for another six months. The car failed its last MOT on emissions due to the HUGE exhaust that was fitted - I bought a brand new OEM factory exhaust and had it professionally fitted and sealed with new gaskets. This solved the problem and the car sailed through the re-test. Its also a lot quieter and faster now that proper back pressures have been restored. AS STATED MOT,D FOR ANOTHER 6 MONTHS,JUST LISTING WHAT WAS CHANGED BELOW It also failed on worn anti-roll bar links and bushes, all of which were replaced with brand new polyurethane versions.
