VIntage 1960s Dansette Autochanger Record Player in Bristol, Gloucestershire for sale

This is a vintage Dansette Conquest four speed Autochanger record player from the mid sixties. Dansette chose to call this model the "NEW CONQUEST" because it was quite a radical change from the earlier MK 11 Conquest with lots of chrome replacing the previous models brass and now dated fittings etc. As you can see its in very good condition with its original black Rexene coverings with no damage, however the top of the lid has been recovered in black Rexene but has been done well. This model is quite rare as it has the ultra reliable and well proven BSR UA15 four speed auto changer capable of playing up to six records in a stack at speeds of 16, 33,45 and 78rpm and which has been serviced and fitted with a NOS ( new old stock) BSR X5M cartridge with flip over stylus which is stereo comparable and will not destroy your treasured Vinyl. The very powerful two stage valve amplifier has just been completely overhauled with its capacitors replaced and valves checked and it sound great with bags of volume with bass and treble controls all working as they should.
